MULTI-CURRENCY ACCOUNTS
Multi-currency business accounts for fiat and crypto
One client profile, many currencies: your clients hold and transact in multiple fiat currencies and crypto assets side by side, with account identifiers usable for external payments, and every balance backed by real double-entry books.
Fiat currencies and crypto assets in one client profile
A client’s accounts are not scattered across products. Fiat balances and crypto balances live in the same profile, move under the same mandates, and are booked into the same ledger, crypto at full precision, not rounded into a bolted-on wallet. Conversion between held currencies is a spot FX operation away; crypto conversion runs through an institutional venue on crypto accounts.
The currency set itself is configuration plus provider reach, which means expanding it is a commercial decision for your brand, not a product rebuild.
Account identifiers usable for external payments
Accounts carry identifiers that external counterparties can pay into, so a client’s account is a real destination for incoming funds, not just an internal balance. Incoming flows are screened and booked like every other movement on the platform.
Which identifier types apply in which market depends on your provider setup and corridors, we map the specifics to your markets during scoping.
Balances and statements straight from the ledger
Every account balance is derived from balanced, write-once entries in the platform’s double-entry ledger, never stored as an editable figure beside them. The statement a client downloads and the general ledger your finance team works from agree by definition.
Clients get account statements in PDF, CSV and XLS, plus payment confirmations, reference letters and information requests, self-served from the web and mobile apps, generated from the same books.
The documents around the account have a home too: the in-app File Manager keeps business files uploaded, categorised and searchable inside the same workspace.
Mandates, roles and controlled access
Business accounts move money only when the right people sign. Multi-signatory mandates with configurable approval rules run client-side; role-based access governs who can see and initiate what; and the full audit trail records who did what, when. Payment authorisation works on mobile, so signatories approve on the move.
Corporate and individual onboarding, with identity and risk verification, tiered client levels and country eligibility rules, is handled by KYC/KYB onboarding, and four-eyes controls add back-office approval where your policy requires it.
On the user’s side of the mandate sits the payment confirmation PIN, and one login can hold the client’s personal profile plus every company they run, via multi-profile access.
Account fees that book themselves
Accounts are a revenue line, not just a container: onboarding fees (including expedited and complex-case pricing), recurring monthly service and maintenance fees, charged automatically and prorated when a client’s plan changes mid-period, and dormancy and closure fees. Each charge is configured per client in the tariff engine and maps to its own income position in the books, so account revenue reports itself.
Multi-currency business accounts FAQ
Can one client hold fiat and crypto together?
Yes, in one profile, under the same mandates, booked in the same double-entry ledger at full precision. Crypto specifics live on Crypto accounts.
Which currencies are available?
The mechanism is the answer: the currency set is configuration plus provider reach, so it is mapped to your markets and corridors rather than fixed by the product. Bring your list to the demo.
Can clients receive payments from outside the platform?
Yes, accounts carry identifiers usable for external payments, and incoming funds are screened and booked like any other movement. Identifier specifics per market are scoped with your provider setup.
What statements and documents do clients get?
Account statements as PDF, CSV or XLS, payment confirmations, reference letters and information requests, generated from the ledger and self-served in the web and mobile apps.
How is access to an account controlled?
Multi-signatory mandates with configurable approval rules, role-based access, and a full audit trail, with signing available on mobile. Back-office approval applies on top where policy routes it: controls & four-eyes.
Are individual accounts supported, or business only?
The platform serves corporate clients with individual accounts supported alongside, both onboarded through the same tiered KYC/KYB with country eligibility rules.
